Christmas Party usually in January, in Dom Marmion House for older people of Dundrum and District with a full meal, music and dancing. Our Christmas Party is subsidised by our society.
Summer Party
Summer Party usually in June, in Dom Marmion House for older people of Dundrum and District with a full meal, music and dancing. Our Summer Party is also subsidised by our society
May & September Outings
A day’s outing in May & September to places of interest starting with a coach pickup point in Dundrum in the morning. Usually with tea and scones on arrival followed by a tour. Dinner at a hotel on the return journey arriving back to Dundrum 7.30 – 8.pm. All these outings are subsidised by our Society.
Mass is celebrated once a year for the members and deceased members

Review of Events year to June 2026.
Autum Outing.
We had lunch in the Talbot Hotel in Stillorgan and then a tour of Airfield house and gardens. Our numbers were a little disappointing; I think it was too local.
Mass for the Deceased Members and Friends.
This was celebrated by Fr Jim Caffery on Nov1st. Fr Jim has great devotion to Blessed Columba.
Birthday Celebrations.
Tess celebrated her 98 th Birthday; she has been a member since Dom Marmion House opened in !992.The following month, it was Sue’s turn to celebrate at a mere 90!
Christmas Party.
We had a thoroughly enjoyable Christmas party in early January with excellent food and drink supplied by our caterers, who did us proud. Lively entertainment was provided aa usual by Gerry. We raffled three lovely hampers and several other prizes.
New Year.
We opened again on Jan 12 th with the Chair Aerobics, Bowling, Bingo and Bridge.
Afternoon Tea and Dance.
We had delicious food prepared by the Committee with music provided by Gerry and wine served by Elsie and David. This was a most enjoyable event and a great team effort. We plan to have a repeat performance at a future date!
Spring outing.
We decided to make a change and we went to the Gaiety to see the “Death on the Nile”. We returned to Dom Marmion House for dinner. This proved a great success as those who were not available to go to the theatre we able to join us for dinner.
May.
We were delighted to facilitate Gael Scoil na Fuinseoiga with their First Communion celebrations.
Summer Party.
We had a most enjoyable afternoon, hosting over 50 members with good food, wine and lively music.
